Industrial SafetySock - Roadside Security

The SafetySock® is a visual disruptor, an object that is out of the ordinary and catches the eye immediately.  So if your vehicle is parked in a work zone along the roadside, using it in addition to your blinking lights and safety cones makes for a stronger warning to passing vehicles to avoid your vehicle.  Most work zones are small in size where not much safety space can be created before the work area (e.g., fixing a pipeline in front of one residence cannot block off a whole block—especially in crowded downtown) as it can in large-scale highway projects.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has reviewed the SafetySock® according to its regulations and has confirmed that the SafetySock® can be used as a piece of vehicle safety equipment by commercial vehicles. The SafetySock® can be integrated into existing safety programs and added to existing safety protocols.
